Carbon Steel

Ganvaneal is steel that is galvanized and then annealed. Compared to galvanized steel, this process creates a surface more conducive to being painted or powdercoated while still being corrosion resistant. For most general flat work, we recommend galvaneal, especially if it will be coated after cutting.

Hot rolled A36 develops an oxide, or rust, layer quickly. For certain aesthetic reasons, this can be desirable.

Cold rolled A36 is harder and has more tensile strength compared to hot rolled steel, making it more desirable for mechanical applications.

All steels are available in 14 gauge thickness (about the same thickness as a quarter).

Stainless Steel

304 Stainless Steel is a corrosion resistant and durable material great for applications in harsh environments

Available in 11, 14, and 20 gauge thickness.

Aluminum

Aluminum is corrosion resistant and lightweight, great for many applications.

Available in 11 and 16 gauge thickness.
